Wedding band Switzerland
Since 2007 the Swiss band MAXiN has played more than 200 weddings in Switzerland and Italy. When Swiss couples marry abroad, they often bring us along.
In the morning, everything is still a plan. The seating chart is by the door, someone is looking for the rings, and the best man is rewriting his speech for the fourth time. Later, a single voice fills the silence of the ceremony. Over drinks, relatives who have only seen one another in photographs finally meet. After dinner, almost without anyone noticing when it happened, the room begins to dance.
From there, MAXiN plays a continuous live mix with no setlist and no running order. Gianni D’Agostino chooses the next song from behind the drums, and Fabienne Hauser takes it to the room. They have shared a stage for ten years.
MAXiN. Highly Danceable Live Music.
Wedding band from the ceremony to the party
For a ceremony, one voice and one instrument are often enough. Fabienne Hauser sings in five languages, in a church, at a registry office or beneath an old tree. Gianni D’Agostino can join her for a duet.
During the drinks reception, MAXiN can play acoustically among the guests, without a stage or electricity: on the terrace, by the bar or in the garden. Later, the full band takes over, with its own sound and lighting. Speeches can be worked into the running order in advance.
Two and a half hours straight
Once the party begins, MAXiN plays for two and a half hours without a break. The band reads the room: who has come onto the dance floor, who is still talking at the bar and when the mood begins to shift. A pause for the cake or a surprise can be planned in advance.
Wedding music for your guests
At a wedding, three generations share one dance floor, and each has its own songs. So MAXiN plays pop, dance, house, R&B, hip-hop, rock, funk, soul, Latin, Italo, jazz and world music, new releases and classics alike, from a repertoire of around 250 songs.
We sing in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, including Swiss German, and on request perform a whole set in one language. At an international wedding, a familiar chorus can bring guests from different countries together on the same dance floor.
How much does a wedding band cost?
In the standard four-piece line-up the price is between CHF 4500 and 7500 depending on the date and set-up, including our own sound and lighting from L-Acoustics, ACME and Astera for up to around 800 guests, and up to CHF 11000 with eight to nine musicians. Travel within German-speaking Switzerland is included. There are no hourly surcharges. A Friday in February is not a Saturday in June. We’ll give you the price for your evening after a first conversation.
The right line-up depends on the setting and the plans for the day.
Destination wedding band in Italy and Europe
A villa above the Amalfi Coast, a borgo near Montepulciano in Tuscany, a celebration in Sardinia. MAXiN plays destination weddings in Italy, France and Denmark, adapting the music to the people in the room. Performances from Ravello, Montepulciano and Sardinia can be seen under Live performances.

Wedding band FAQ
How much does a wedding band like MAXiN cost?
In the standard line-up, CHF 4500 to 7500 depending on the date and set-up, including our own sound and lighting for up to around 800 guests, and up to CHF 11000 with eight to nine musicians. How early should we book?
There is no fixed rule. Many couples are in touch about a year before the wedding, some two years ahead, others only a few weeks before. And because plans change, a date that seemed taken sometimes becomes free again.
Does MAXiN also play outdoors?
