The wedding weekend of Anja and Johannes in Ravello, high above the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Two evenings in two places: on Friday in the gardens of the Caruso, on Saturday at Villa La Rondinaia on the edge of the cliffs.
On Friday our contact was Renate Peter of Finest Memories from Zurich. The agency plans events, incentive trips and tailor-made private travel all over the world. Saturday was planned by Sabine Wedding.
Friday at the Caruso
The guests gathered in the gardens of the Caruso, an 11th-century palazzo that has been a hotel since 1893 and is now part of Belmond. We played right among them, between olive trees and with a view of the sea, from the aperitivo at sunset into the night under the illuminated trees.

Saturday at La Rondinaia
Dinner was served at long tables on the lawn, under chandeliers, as the sun disappeared behind the mountains. Sparkler fountains lit up the flower arch as the cake was cut, and then the dance floor was full, from «Sarà perché ti amo» to «I Wanna Dance with Somebody».
The villa
La Rondinaia means swallow’s nest. The villa was built at the end of the 1920s on the edge of a cliff, on the estate of Villa Cimbrone. From 1972, the American writer Gore Vidal lived here for more than thirty years. His guests included Paul Newman, Greta Garbo and Princess Margaret.
Wedding in Italy
For couples from Switzerland getting married on the Amalfi Coast, in Tuscany or elsewhere in Italy, we travel with you as your wedding band. We sing in German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French, so at a destination wedding with guests from different countries everyone hears their songs.
The photos
Tim Reuter photographed both evenings. It was wonderful to work with him. More of his work: Fotografie Tim Reuter.
