Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Kreativmedia in Switzerland. When you visit it, the server stores technically necessary data such as IP address, date, time, page visited and browser. This data is used to operate the website securely and is not combined with other data.
Visitor statistics and protection against click fraud
To understand how the website is found, we store for each visit the source (for example Google search, an ad or social media), the pages viewed, clicks on the contact options (WhatsApp, phone, e-mail, appointment booking), the length of stay, the device type and the IP address (for the security of the website, to detect misuse and repeated access, and for visitor statistics). If you reach our website via one of our ads (Google or ChatGPT), we additionally store the search term for which the ad was shown, as well as the time, IP address, device type, technical device characteristics (screen size, language, time zone), a random device identifier in browser storage, pages viewed and length of stay. This additional data is used solely to detect and exclude fraudulent clicks on our ads. To determine the approximate location (city, region), the IP address is briefly sent to the service ipapi.co. If you send us an enquiry, we store together with it how you reached the website (source, landing page, pages viewed, approximate location, device type). If a link in one of our e-mails to you contains an identifier, we can see that you reached the website via that e-mail. To tell new from returning visitors, your browser also remembers the date of your last visit (without any identifier). The IP address, device identifier and device characteristics are deleted automatically after 90 days; after that only anonymous statistics without personal reference remain. The data is not passed on.
Contact form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us via the form, by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we only use your details to handle your enquiry. Form submissions are sent to us by e-mail and are not stored on the website. The WhatsApp button is a simple link: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) only opens when you tap it, and WhatsApp’s privacy policy then applies.
Google Analytics
To understand how the website is used, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Cookies are used and usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location are transmitted to Google, possibly also to the USA. We do not use advertising tools such as Google Ads on this website. You can prevent this by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.
Appointment booking via Google Calendar
You can book a consultation directly on the contact page. For this we embed the appointment booking of Google Calendar (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). A connection to Google is only established when you click «Choose a time». The details you enter when booking are processed by Google and passed on to us so that we can hold the consultation.
YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). A connection to YouTube (Google) is only established when you start a video.
Fonts
All fonts are stored on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made when you visit the website.

You can request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Just write to booking@maxin.ch.
